Disclaimer time:
Most districts have a scope and sequence that they would like for you to follow for each subject including mine. I really do try to stay close to it, but then real life teaching takes over, and I just can’t. I would recommend seeing what your district has to offer. They have people who do this sort of thing, you know, for a living.
The moral of this semi-ridiculous story? Not at all what I started writing but I like it so I’m keeping it. Do what works for your classroom. I coped exceedingly well with small chunks of time, but I know not everyone works this way. Do you, and do what works for your students!
Now of course if you want to know HOW I teach it, all the PowerPoints, INB activities, task cards, and other student activities can be found in this Mega-Bundle. 🙂
