This fifth grade comparing decimals test prep bundle is a no frills all action product meant to cement students’ knowledge of comparing and ordering decimals to the thousandths place for standardized testing. All ten of the activities included were created entirely in black and white to save on colored ink, and make for easy use of the copy machine.
I use these activities in class and with my testing study group after school.
It was created with the following standards in mind:
5.2b compare and order two decimals to thousandths and represent comparisons using the symbols >, <, or =
CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.5.NBT.A.3.B Compare two decimals to the thousandths based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of the comparisons.
All of the activities included are designed to be used to fill in any gaps that students may have understanding how to compare and order decimals to the thousandths place.
